San Francisco Feature: 16th Street Steps

Whether it’s a new photoshoot spot you’re looking for or you’re just making a trip to San Francisco, you probably know all about the Golden Gate Bridge or Pier 39. San Francisco is filled with hidden gems, but where should we start?

One of my favorite spots is the 16th Street Tiled Steps, which sits beneath Grand View Park at 16th Street and Moraga Ave. It started as a project in 2003 between 300+ neighbors in the area, and finished in August 2005. It’s a set of 163 steps with mosaic panels that were hand made. I took this visit on a rather foggy morning, but it’s still beautiful!

Each flight of stairs features a different theme, but still look connected, so it’s super neat.
